Hello everyone,

My fraternity is co-sponsoring the event below it seems interesting just wanted to put it out there if anyone is interested. It is going to be held at Depaul on February 10th

Platanos & Collard Greens is a play that tells the story of two college students, Freeman, an African-American man, and Angelita, a Latina woman, who are both forced to confront and overcome cultural and racial prejudices, while defending their bond from the biases held by family and friends.
Platanos & Collard Greens is a thought-provoking comedy that tactfully addresses stereotypes, prejudices, and urban myths that exist between African-Americans and Latinos, within the context of hip hop, humor, and satire
Doors Open at 6:30 pmPerformance Begins at 7:00 pm
FREE FOOD!!!

NEW VOLUNTEER PROJECT

BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER THIS IS A TOP SECRET MISSION. It (of course) has not been approved by Pat (and it will never be). If you are one of the few selected to take part in this mission, you will be on a need to know basis. If you report this to any animal rights groups or to any authorities we shall deny it all and remove it from the blog.......

( This page will self destruct in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5......... )

For: Anyone that takes the Division Blue Line, Damen Bus, and or anyone that has to walk through that god-forsaken island/park on Division with the gathering of pigeons.

WHat: We are going to clear the the park of all bird like creatures for a time period known as eternity.......

If you are the faint of heart, then you should not sign up.. If you are a bird lover, the same applies, and if you get sick at the sight of dead pigeons... then again I believe that you should not sign up...

The WEAPON:

These are m-98 ( m-80s are strong enough to blow your hand off if you held them) so imagine that plus 18 more degrees of BOOM!!!!!! and the side effect pigeons have when they engulf these babies......

The TARGETS: Pigeons

All the other specifics will be taken care and you will be brief in full if you are selected just know the following

Pigeons + M98 = NO MORE PIGEONS

that is all

Here's a photo from my winter break. This is the Dead river just out side of Marquette, MI. Over the river and through the woods... we went sledding... but more importantly...

Is it breck? Give me a dollar!!! :) alright ya'll, Saturday night is coming up fast, and it's looking good here at the Roy Orbison (for those of you who don't know that is the name of the apartment shared by Alissa, Alexis and Tina). I have a limited supply of bad beer and girly drinks I brought back from my family Xmas gatherings, and a new radio just made for plugging Ipods into. So come on over to 2624 W. Fullerton #2 (cali blue line stop) and buzz Roy Orbison around 9pm or when ever. Bring some sauce and some rock and roll, but mostly yourself and any friends you want to bring along.

Rock out, back to work!

So, so along with wonderful news and gossip, and invites to gatherings, I was thinking that if people had pictures from some of these gatherings we could post them up on the blog...

and if people had things they wanted to talk about with the rest of the corps... that they could use the blog... obiviously not everyone is in to the blog... but for those that are.... holla back and get me some pictures...

like for example this Bob, Break, and I sneaking off to the White Sox Rally during work (lunchtimish)
it was fun being downtown with the rest of Chicago that day. It was one of those moment that you dream of as a fan and when you get the change, you kind of have to jump at the opportunity to see it for yourself and not just on TV.

as you can see, I am the best damn photographer ever...... I probably showed everyone these picture and they looked god awful, but they kinda look better now after photoshop.

I have some black and white ones to scan and then I shall put them on.

For a Link dollar can anyone guess who this is ?
